Profound Decisions rules of internet engagement:

IC Communications
IC internet based communications via noticeboards, email lists and chat forums are not supported by the Maelstrom campaign, and you must not use them. Other mediums for IC communication, such as private email, phone, etc are fine and any messages that are sent are considered to have been written down and sent by a suitable IC courier.

So if you need to talk to one of us IC you should really PM one of us.

Apart from that, there's just a few things you should know:

- Please try to register with your CHARACTER name, since it makes things infinitely easier.

- Accounts will have to be activated by the admin before you can access the boards. This will probably be done within a few hours but there will be times (such as in the middle of the night or when the admin is busy) when it may take up to 24 hours so please don't start peppering us with emails saying that your account doesn't work. You will receive an email when your account has been activated.

- Once you have registered and your account has been activated, please PM admin to let us know which section you desire access to (sections are outlined in the forum welcome post). If you know we are unlikely to be familiar with the character you play, refer us to a registered member who knows you. If this isn't possible, we have to ask around a bit to make sure you play a Jaguar follower before we can give you access to certain parts of the board. Please be patient.

- If you are a member of an IC group and would like your group to have it's own forum section, let admin know and we'll set it up for you. At the same time, please give us the username of whoever you'd like to moderate your group forum.

- The rest is really common sense. Don't share info with any old Tom, Dick or Harry (remember that PD said they are completely unable to police the bleed-over from OC knowledge to IC knowledge so PLEASE exercise COMMON SENSE). Be polite, don't start flame wars or throw abuse at anyone. Try to respect the laws of English language. Text speak is hugely annoying when overused.
